Lufthansa, officially known as Deutsche Lufthansa AG, is one of the largest airlines in the world and the main carrier of Germany.
At the end of 2023, the Lufthansa Group fleet comprised 721 aircraft. This fleet includes modern aircraft from Boeing and Airbus, such as the Boeing 787-9, Airbus A350-900, Airbus A321neo and A320neo. The company added 29 new aircraft in 2023 and retired 18 older ones, thus continuing to optimize and modernize its fleet.
In 2023, the Lufthansa Group served a total of 123 million passengers, registering an increase of 20% compared to the previous year. This significant growth was supported by high demand for air travel and an expansion in flight capacity.
