It is one of the four major airports that serve Moscow, along with Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Zhukovsky.
The airport consists of three passenger terminals and the Vnukovo-Cargo terminal. The main passenger complex Vnukovo-1 consists of terminals A, B and D. The Vnukovo-2 complex (ICAO: UUWI) is used to service special flights of the highest Russian leaders, as well as leaders of other countries. The Vnukovo-3 terminals service business aviation flights, special flights of the Moscow government and Roscosmos aviation.
